What’s inside?
One can of Balance Vida contains 120 capsules, each containing 400 mg phenylalanine, 100 mg tyrosine, 30 mg roseroot, 30 µg selenium (selenite) and 6 µg vitamin B12. The recommended daily dose is 3 capsules throughout the day.
Balance Vida supplies phenylalanine and tyrosine – according to Apothekenblatt, these are the central amino acids from which the body produces thyroid hormones. The formula is supplemented by rhodiola (rose root), which, according to the Apothekenblatt, contributes to stress balance. It also contains methyl-B12 and selenium (as sodium selenite). According to Apothekenblatt, selenium is an essential co-factor of the enzymes that convert T4 (the thyroid hormone thyroxine) into its active form. Balance Vida is iodine-free, which, according to Apothekenblatt, prevents the risk of inflammatory processes and autoimmune reactions in Hashimoto’s disease. Finally, Balance Vida is free from fillers and laboratory-tested.
