Gain a clearer understanding of your iron status: Test four key iron markers from the comfort of your home and receive an easy-to-understand lab report on iron, ferritin, transferrin, and transferrin saturation—for a clear picture of your iron levels, reserves, and iron transport in the blood.

Keep an eye on your iron levels! The at-home iron check shows you the status of your iron intake, iron stores, and iron transport.

How full are your batteries?

Iron delivers oxygen to your cells—and thus energy to your daily life. If your iron levels are too low, your body will quickly start running on fumes.
The Iron Check shows you:

Tank Level: How much iron is currently available.

Reserve: How full your iron stores are.

Transport: How well iron is carried through your blood.

A person with blond hair is lying face-down on a bed, wearing a white shirt with black stripes. Their eye—which may reflect symptoms of iron deficiency—is looking toward the camera. The bedding is white, with gray pillows in the background.
A hand is holding a smartphone displaying the results of an Eisen-Check blood test for iron, ferritin, transferrin, and transferrin saturation in a health app—ideal for a cardiovascular checkup at home. A green plant is partially visible in the background.

Four iron values for a clear overall picture

A single iron level tells only part of the story. It’s only through the interplay of iron, ferritin, transferrin, and transferrin saturation that you can see how well your body is actually utilizing iron: How much is currently available? How full are your reserves? And is the iron actually reaching the places where it’s needed?

Iron

Iron shows how much iron your body currently has available. It’s important for transporting oxygen in the blood and helps supply your cells with energy.

Ferritin

Ferritin shows how well your iron stores are stocked. It’s like your body’s storage battery: While iron shows what’s currently available, ferritin shows how much is still in reserve.

Transferrin

Transferrin is the protein that transports iron in the blood—your body’s “iron taxi,” so to speak. It carries iron to where it’s needed, such as to the cells and to the bone marrow for the production of red blood cells.

Transferrin saturation

Transferrin saturation indicates how full the iron-carrying “taxis” in the blood are. It indicates what percentage of the transport protein transferrin is actually carrying iron.

A woman is sitting on a sofa, smiling; a medical device is attached to her upper arm, which she is using to check her iron levels at home. She is wearing a light-colored top and brown pants. Pillows and a window can be seen in the background.
A comparison table highlighting the advantages of Eisen-Check (flexible, no wait time, can be done at home, quick results) compared to a “doctor’s appointment” (limited flexibility, wait time of several days or weeks, requires a visit to the doctor’s office, more effort).

How much is your time worth to you?

A doctor’s appointment often takes time—scheduling the appointment, traveling there, waiting in the waiting room, and getting blood drawn. With the Iron Check, you can do it all from the comfort of your own home.
In just four simple steps, you’ll receive your personalized results.

A person uses an autoinjector on their upper arm and presses the blue plunger with their thumb. This procedure is similar to the TAP blood test (Lead Check), as both substances are administered through the skin.

How does blood analysis work with the TAP® device?

Normally, such analyses require several blood collection tubes filled with venous blood. This necessitates a visit to a doctor’s office. Analyzing micronutrients from very small blood samples is a challenge that SwissAnalysis AG has successfully overcome. Thanks to this sophisticated technology, a wide range of values can be tested using just a small amount of blood. You will then receive a detailed and easy-to-understand report from the lab for each individual value measured.

“Very easy to use, painless (I didn’t feel a thing), and quick results.”
Monica B. on the TAP blood test

Here’s how to perform the test (instructional video).

Benefits of Analysis Using the TAP® Device

  • Painless Collection of Capillary Blood
  • Easy to use; even beginners can do it
  • Step-by-Step Instructions
  • A Sophisticated System
  • Measurement of lead content and other important parameters
  • A clear summary of the lab test results with explanations for each value
  • An affordable way to easily obtain important blood test results
Someone wearing blue jeans and beaded bracelets is typing on his smartphone—perhaps he’s filling out a form for the TAP blood test for micronutrients—and is holding the phone in his left hand, focused on the task at hand.
