Tim Grossniklaus attended the SC Bern ice hockey school and played for all of the Swiss national team's junior squads. He turned professional with the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. His other clubs include Servette Geneva, HC Davos, EHC Olten and SCL Tigers. The defender has been with EHC Visp since 2024 and is an important member of the team. In 2025, EHC Visp won the Swiss League championship. Tim and his team narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League.
