Modern life demands more energy than ever, and quite a few people already feel exhausted in the morning. To combat this, many people turn to coffee, energy drinks or fitness supplements. Although they provide a short-term boost, their effect is usually limited – only around 3-10% increase in performance – and is often accompanied by side effects such as tremors, bloating or subsequent energy slumps.
However, research has now shown that NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride), a natural substance in our cells, can improve endurance by a remarkable 25.6%.
The study participants – male medical students – were all not regularly active in sports and suffered from psychosocial stress due to academic demands, sleep disorders and irregular nutrition.
Their endurance performance increased by 25.6 percent with NADH Vida, while maximum oxygen uptake (VO₂max) increased by 24.6 percent. At the same time, heart rate and blood pressure recovered significantly faster. It is also noteworthy that no side effects occurred as a result of taking the drug. The placebo group showed no improvement.

NADH is an endogenous coenzyme that plays a central role in energy production. Its main task is to support the mitochondria – the “power plants” of your cells – in the production of ATP, the body’s actual energy currency. ATP provides the energy for every heartbeat, every thought and every muscle contraction. NADH helps the cells to extract energy from nutrients particularly efficiently. Put simply, it provides the mitochondria with the necessary “raw material” to optimize energy production. In contrast to stimulating substances such as caffeine, it does not have a short-term stimulating effect, but supports the natural energy supply at cellular level in the long term.
A falling NADH level – for example due to stress, lack of sleep or age – can impair performance and recovery. Targeted supplementation can replenish these reserves.
The study results make NADH Vida a convincing solution for anyone who wants more energy, stamina and faster regeneration in everyday life, at work, at university or during sport.
