Reducing healthcare costs – your voice is needed now!
On November 11, 2024, Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider invited representatives from the healthcare sector to a round table for the first time. The aim: to develop solutions to curb healthcare costs. From 2026, the aim is to save around CHF 300 million a year – around 1% of health insurance premiums. It will take all of us to achieve this!

Our approach: integrative medicine with a focus on vital substance medicine
We are convinced that consistently promoted integrative medicine, which sensibly combines conventional and complementary medicine, can reduce costs – sustainably, effectively and humanely.
More prevention, personal responsibility and health literacy means fewer chronic illnesses, less medication, fewer hospital admissions – and lower costs.
Vital substance medicine (orthomolecular medicine) in particular offers enormous potential:
- Naturally
- Evidence-based
- Low risk and low side effects
- Cost-effective compared to many conventional medical therapies
- Holistic and preventive
Being heard together – making an impact together!
If many similar, well-founded suggestions are received, we can make a difference. Share this campaign generously in your personal and professional environment and on social media.
Thank you very much!
