The essential trace element selenium is involved in many biochemical processes in the human body. It is a powerful antioxidant and contributes, for example, to the normal function of the thyroid gland and the immune system. Selenium is found in various animal and plant foods, albeit in small quantities, as our soils tend to be low in selenium. In certain situations, it may therefore be worth taking selenium as a dietary supplement.

Our vegan Selenium Vida contains selenium in the form of easily bioavailable sodium selenite. The drops can be taken directly or with a drink. They taste pleasantly sweet (glycerine), but contain neither sugar nor sweeteners.
