Céline Naef

Sport has always played a central role in Celine's life. She started playing tennis at a young age and gained her first competitive experience in age-appropriate tournaments. Since then, she has been on an exciting journey with many highlights. In 2023, Céline made her WTA debut in the Netherlands, celebrating a victory over seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams, among others. Shortly afterwards, she qualified for the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time at Wimbledon. To date, she has won seven ITF singles titles, six doubles titles and one WTA doubles title. She also made her debut for the Swiss national team in 2023. Céline is coached by a core team and experts from the world of elite sport. She trains at the national performance centre in Biel, supplemented by further opportunities in her home region. Her goal is to break into the top 100, establish herself on the WTA Tour and continue playing for the national team. One of her big dreams is to compete in the Olympic Games.
