These empty, transparent vegetarian capsules have been developed under strictly controlled conditions to meet the highest standards. They are made from 100% plant-based materials and are therefore suitable for vegans. They have extra-thin walls and dissolve quickly in the stomach. If you are looking to buy vegetarian capsules, Capsugel’s VCaps+ capsules are a product that meets the highest standards.
Please note: The capsule halves are already assembled and must be opened before filling. The capsules are available in sizes 00 (‘large’), 0 (“medium”) and 1 (‘small’). The capsules should be stored in a dry place (humidity between 35% and 65%) at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.
Vegetarian capsules made from HPMC
The vegetarian capsules consist only of HPMC and water. HPMC is the abbreviation for hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It is a cellulose mixture made from various natural raw materials.
- When taken daily at a dose of 5 g, HPMC helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
- When taken with a meal, 4 g of HPMC helps to reduce the rise in blood sugar levels after eating.
