Hydrating Skin Lotion is an innovative natural cosmetic specially formulated for dry and irritated skin. The specially developed and patented combination of active ingredients SkinFXmatrix® protects and cares for the skin, strengthens the skin barrier and penetrates deep into the skin.

Gentle production – “cold-stirred”
In contrast to the usual production of creams, all production steps of the “SLM Skin Repair” products take place at room temperature. This means that all the valuable ingredients are optimally protected and their full effect can unfold.

What is a “lecithin-based emulsifier system”?
Lecithins are components of cell walls. They also serve as natural emulsifiers and thus enable the mixing of fats and water. In SLM ECO®, hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine from sunflowers is used. This allows the Hydrating Skin Lotion to contribute to the regeneration of an impaired lipid matrix (“skin repair effect”).
Birch bark and prickly pear
The Hydrating Skin Lotion also contains Hydro-Gain® from birch bark extract and prickly pear seed oil. Both birch trees in the arctic tundra and cacti in the desert have to survive in places of extreme dryness.

No “wash-out effect”
With SLM Hydrating Skin Lotion there is no “wash-out effect”, as is often the case with synthetic emulsifiers. The skin lipids are made soluble and washed out of the skin the next time it is washed. This opens up an innovative, skin-friendly solution for natural cosmetics.
With moisturising almond oil
Almond oil contains over 90% essential monounsaturated and diunsaturated fatty acids. The oil penetrates deep into the cornea and keeps it moisturised.
Protective jojoba oil
Jojoba oil consists of almost 100% liquid, long-chain wax esters. It forms a lipid film on the skin.
Valuable fatty acids from mango butter
Mango butter is extracted from the seeds of the mango fruit and contains various important fatty acids.
α-Bisabolol from camomile
Α-Bisabolol is the main component of camomile oil, which is extracted from chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla).
D-panthenol (dexpanthenol)
D-panthenol increases the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

In order to preserve the valuable ingredients, we work with a special, intensive mixing process in which the ingredients are not heated (as is often the case), but gently combined and processed at room temperature.
Packaging and design
The dispenser cap with the small opening helps to optimise and save dosage. The valuable ingredients are protected from oxygen and oxidation in the airtight bottle (airless pump). Initially, several pumps may be required until the cream is reliably dispensed.
