EM Multi ferment contains a fermented concentrate of herbs and plants as well as 31 different bacterial strains (probiotics).

Composition of EM Multi ferment

With the component vitamin C, EM Multi ferment contributes to the protection of the cells against oxidative stress, to a normal energy metabolism and to a normal function of the immune system.

The intestinal flora

Up to 100 trillion bacteria can be found in a healthy intestine. They break down the food, feed on it and make it digestible for us. They also produce various vitamins and enzymes that are important for humans. The entirety of all bacteria in the intestine is called the intestinal flora or, more modernly, the microbiome. If the microbiome is in a balanced, healthy state, it is called eubiosis. If the proportion of potentially dangerous, disease-causing bacteria increases, the microbiome becomes unbalanced and gets into a condition known as dysbiosis.

Probiotics and intestinal flora

According to the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) definition, probiotics are “living microorganisms consumed in appropriate quantities that bring health benefits to humans.*” Probiotics include, for example, bifidobacteria, lactobacilli or enterococci.

EM Multi ferment contains 26 different herbs and plants, which are broken down into their basic components by a multi-stage fermentation process. These include: pineapple, angelica root, aniseed, basil, dill, fennel, rose hip, blueberry leaves, raspberry leaves, elderflowers, ginger, cardamom, maca root, origanum, peppermint, rosemary, redbush leaves, red clover leaves, saffron, sage, black cumin seeds, liquorice, thyme, vanilla pods, cinnamon, lingzhi.

What else is included in EM Multi ferment?

In addition to bacterial cultures and fermented herbal and plant mixtures, EM Multi ferment contains water, lactic acid, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and a grape seed extract rich in OPC (OPC = oligomeric proanthocyanidins).

Consumption Recommendation

Ideally, take 1 x 20 ml or 2 x 10 ml daily undiluted and circulate a little before swallowing. Preferably take at least half an hour before a meal. For a milder taste experience, EM Multi ferment can be taken diluted in half a glass of water.

Storage

Store at room temperature; after opening please store in a refrigerator and use within one month of opening. Please store the product upright, do not drink directly from the bottle. Carbon dioxide can form a slight pressure in the bottle. Gentle swirl the product before opening, do not shake.

Recommended Dosage of EM Multi Ferment

Take 1 x 20 ml or 2 x 10 ml daily (with the enclosed measuring cup) undiluted and swirl around your mouth a little before swallowing. Preferably take at least half an hour before a meal. For a more pleasant taste, EM Multi ferment may be taken diluted in half a glass of water.
