NADH or coenzyme 1

NADH is a coenzyme that is involved in the human respiratory chain and is found in every plant, animal or human cell. It is a completely natural molecule that we take in with our daily food.

What does NADH mean?

The abbreviation NADH stands for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Hydride. Because this name is almost unpronounceable, NADH is also simply called coenzyme 1. Another name for NADH is biological hydrogen.

What role does NADH play in metabolism?

Every cell generates the energy it needs in the so-called mitochondria. In these , NADH reacts with oxygen. This produces the universal energy molecule ATP.

Enables energy production in the cells

The production and storage of energy is a central metabolic process for which various coenzymes such as NADH are required.

Proven stable NADH

The NADH in NADH Vida is extracted from brewer’s yeast and then stabilised. Without effective protection, NADH is unstable and decays rapidly.

NADH Vida contains a stabilised and scientifically tested form of NADH from a patented manufacturing process.

Stable NADH is crucial

Analysis by an independent testing laboratory shows that the NADH content in NADH Vida is guaranteed (to the analysis). 5 months later we commissioned a new analysis, which was also positive (to the analysis). In contrast, a competitor’s product contained only half the NADH 3 years before the expiry date (to the analysis). 5 months later, the NADH was already below the detection limit (to the analysis). This shows how important it is to use a stabilised NADH.

NADH from the EU

We source high-quality raw materials for our NADH Vida from the EU, naturally in food grade quality. However, there are manufacturers who use raw materials from Asia (e.g. China). These products are cheaper, but unfortunately the quality leaves much to be desired. The suppliers from Asia offer no proof that their raw material is “food grade”. NADH Vida, on the other hand, meets the highest quality standards.

What is NADH Vida used for?

The health claims that are possible for a dietary supplement such as NADH Vida and its ingredients are precisely defined by law. We are not allowed to go beyond this, even if it should have scientifically confirmed physiological properties. Make up your own mind with an internet search.

NADH Vida contains 20 μg biotin per tablet. Biotin contributes to normal energy metabolism.

NADH Vida increases performance and endurance

The effects of NADH Vida on physical performance and cardiovascular health were investigated in a scientific study. The participants were randomly assigned to a test group (NADH) or a control group (placebo). The effect of NADH on exercise tolerance, physical performance and heart health was analysed.

Conclusion of the study: NADH Vida makes you fitter and is good for the heart

Taking 40 mg NADH (2 x 20 mg) daily for 3 weeks improves performance and endurance, increases aerobic fitness, promotes blood flow, lowers blood pressure and strengthens the cardiovascular system.
