Taking B vitamins, especially riboflavin (vitamin B2), can cause your pee to turn a bright yellow or even neon yellow. This is because extra water-soluble vitamin B2 is peed out. This is totally harmless.
A brief word about niacin (vitamin B3): Vitamin B Vida contains niacin in the form of nicotinamide. This is the amide form of niacin with an identical biological effect. Nicotinamide is “flush free” and does not cause reddening of the skin, a feeling of heat or itching. DocCheck Flexikon writes: “Nicotinamide belongs to the B vitamins and is an important component of the two coenzymes NAD+ and NADP+, which serve to transfer hydrogen in cell metabolism.” Important: Despite the similar name, nicotinamide has nothing to do with nicotine!

About the designation of the B vitamins
The terms vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B7 and vitamin B9 have not been used for decades, although these substances are still classified as B vitamins. The terms vitamin B1 and B2 are used in parallel for thiamine and riboflavin. This can be quite confusing. That is why we are naming the B vitamins and their official names here:
